Assignment Profile:
Our client is a well respected financial services institution based in London

Due to expansion they are seeking to employ a Compliance Officer to assist the Head of Compliance in meeting the company’s regulatory obligations

Duties will include monitoring and advisory as well as ad hoc projects as directed by the Head of the Compliance

Due to the nature of the business (which has offices in Europe) it is essential the successful candidate is familiar and up to date with current FSA regulation.

If you work or have previously worked at the FSA or other regulatory body that would be an advantage but it is not a limiting factor.

It is essential that you speak at least one European language, which MUST include business Spanish 

You should also be aware that there is travel to Europe involved with the role and this will be between 20-30%

Candidate Profile:
A minimum of 3 to 4 years compliance experience

Graduate preferred

Current FSA knowledge 

General Insurance background is an advantage

Excellent interpersonal skills

MUST speak Business Spanish

Be prepared to Travel up to 30% into Europe
